John joined the Kira team in October 2016 as a Board Member. Identifying the core values and mission statement to align with his own, he was attracted to the organisation.
Stepping into the CEO role from June 2018 was a natural next step. With over 25 years senior management experience and a strong background in senior management within the resources sector, John brings a strong business acumen to Kira.
Holding a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), John is well placed to lead Kira into the future demands of the disability sector. He is also currently undertaking further studies in disability support, to further understand the unique issues the sector faces.
With a mantra “What motivates me will reward me”, John looks forward to working with the Kira team to ensure Kira’s success and hold its place within the sector.
