At Kira Community Services, we view success via the intensity of smiles and laughter from our members – and judging by this, 2018 is moving in the right direction!
Our Board, senior staff and I recently took some time to start our new strategic plan and set a vision to ‘live, learn and laugh’. This has shaped our change management program, which is well underway, aiming to improve our members experiences and NDIS transition. The program is premised on a culture of empowerment, business improvement and service excellence.
Kira’s new service management system has now been integrated to provide ‘one source of truth’ for service planning and HR management providing teams up to date information to inform planning and service design. Our new service centre in Currambine is also up and running, with early feedback telling us that it is empowering more responsive service delivery and achieving localised outcomes with members.
A deeper understanding of member needs has seen Kira replicate our popular Mirrabooka Music and Dance Program – soon to be offered in Mindarie. Our teams have also been busy rejuvenating our Greenwood programs with NEW activities, which are proving to be really popular.
